Wood Machinist/Spindle Moulder Operator

Pro-Found Recruitment Solutions is currently recruiting for an experienced Wood Machinist / Spindle Moulder Operator to join a busy door manufacturing company based in Sheffield, S9.

Benefits:

• Location: Sheffield, S9
• Pay: £12.7 to £13.52 per hour
• Hours: Days Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm and Friday 7.30am to 1.30pm – 37.5 hours per week
• Contract: Temp to Perm
• Immediate start available

This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in woodworking or joinery manufacturing who can operate wood machinery safely and accurately to produce high-quality components.

The Role

• Operating a spindle moulder and other woodworking machinery.
• Machining timber and door components to the required specifications.
• Setting and adjusting machinery to achieve accurate results.
• Reading and working from measurements, drawings and job specifications.
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure finished products meet the required standards.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• Meeting production targets while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience operating a spindle moulder preferred but not essential as will consider someone with some machine oeprating experience
• Experience as a wood machinist within a door manufacturing, joinery or woodworking environment.
• Good understanding of woodworking machinery, tooling and machining processes.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious approach.
